6. How do I use The Music Masters Series?
Main Menu
Select movement of choice in the tab bar.
Select Ensemble to listen to full performance (or)
Select your instrument (Piano, Violin, Oboe etc.) to accompany the ensemble. Your instrument
will be muted when you enter 'play mode'.
Play Mode/Pause Mode
Select 'Play' to begin play mode. After five seconds you will hear a two bar countoff
and the music will follow. Play along with the music on the screen.
Pages turn automatically. As the music plays the "current" stave is highlighted.
The user can choose when the page turns during the last measure of a stave by moving the page turn
slider up or down on the screen. A faster rate causes the highlighted stave to change sooner.
A slower rate causes the stave to change later. As the slider is moved play mode will pause.
Resume play mode by clicking 'play'.
To hear the selections with a continuous clicktrack click 'Metronome'. The audio will
pause momentarily and then resume automatically with the audible clicktrack.
Click 'Metronome' a second time to turn off the clicktrack.
Select 'Pause' to pause playback. Select 'Play' to continue playback.
Select 'Main Menu' to return to the Main Menu.
Should you experience audio dropouts during 'Play Mode' please exit The Music Masters Series and reboot the program.
If audio droputs persist reboot your computer to clear the memory cache. In addition, turn off
all other applications while using The Music Masters Series.
Practice Mode
Click 'Practice' to enter practice mode. A pop-up window will appear.
Choose a start spot and an end spot to select a practice range. This range will 'loop'
when the play button is selected in the pop-up window. Normal play mode is resumed
when 'Play' in the nav bar is clicked. Select 'Main Menu' to return to the Main Menu.
Supplemental Section
From the Main Menu select the Music Masters tab and then 'History & Analysis' to enter
the supplemental section. Here you will find information on the composer, a history
of the musical form specific to this program (sonata, trio, quartet etc.),
an in-depth analysis of the work on this disc and suggestions for performance.

There are also musical examples referenced in the analysis. These examples can be
viewed by clicking on the 'Click to see Example' mouseovers. Select 'Back' to
return to the analysis. As always, you can select 'Main Menu' to return to the Main Menu.

7. Why do I hear the piano in the 'Piano Out' sections of the program?
The piano is heard faintly in the Piano Out tracks to give the user a reference point when the other instrument(s)
drop out entirely. This is especially helpful when not using the Metronome.

8. Why does the Metronome seem to rush or slow down occasionally?
