Digital Music Design announces the release of The Music Masters Series, a completely
self-contained CD-ROM rehearsal/accompaniment program for teachers and classical
music students. The Music Masters Series enables the musician to rehearse chamber
music without the necessity of the entire ensemble being present. In 'play mode',
the instrumentalist has the ability to mute their respective part from the
performance and rehearse with the rest of the 'virtual' ensemble. In 'practice mode',
any of the pages of the on-screen score can be continuously looped. A supplemental
section provides musical analysis, suggestions on performance practice within a
historical context. Other features includes active stave highlighting, adjustable
page turning and audible metronome. All ensemble instruments are digital audio
recordings and not MIDI-generated sounds. The Music Masters Series runs on
both Mac and PC computers and requires no MIDI hardware, sequencing software
or any advanced computer knowledge.

Masters Series catalogue and will concentrate on chamber music of the Baroque,
Classical and early to middle Romantic periods. Every classical music student,
