The Music Masters Series provides soundfile recordings of classical
repertoire. These files incorporate several mixes of the composition,
a full ensemble mix, and mixes with one of the instruments absent. For example:
If a quartet is written for one clarinet, one violin, one viola
and one cello, one of these instrumentalists selects his/her instrument
icon from the main menu to access the recording from which that
particular instrument is missing. This feature allows any of the
instruments for which a piece was written to use the same program
(unlike other "play along" recordings and software). A supplemental
section includes musical analysis and suggestions on performance
practice demonstrating execution of musical passages and ornaments.
I. Main Menu
In the Main Menu the user clicks which movement to hear/play
and then clicks which instrument mode to open.
